Event Ticketing Terms

Last updated: 23 September 2026

When these terms apply

These terms apply to a ticket for an event promoted by SYBER EVENTS PTY LTD. If an event has another promoter, its disclosed terms apply. In either case, rights that can't lawfully be excluded still apply.

Each event may have extra conditions covering its venue, age restriction, identification, accessibility, entry times or licensing requirements. Those conditions will be shown on the event page, authorised ticket listing or ticket confirmation.

Buying and receiving tickets

Tickets are sold and delivered by the authorised ticketing provider named on the event page. Read the event listing and the provider's terms before buying. The final price, including unavoidable fees, must be shown before payment.

Your ticket confirmation records the event, ticket type and purchase details. Contact the ticketing provider first if a ticket hasn't arrived or the order details are wrong.

Using a ticket

A ticket must be valid and complete, and it can be used only once. Don't alter, copy or obtain a ticket through an unauthorised seller. If transfers or resale are allowed, use the method approved by the ticketing provider.

We may refuse an invalid, duplicated or fraudulently obtained ticket. We may also refuse entry or remove a person where reasonably and lawfully required for safety, unlawful conduct, harassment, serious disruption or a material breach of disclosed event or venue conditions.

Event changes

Set times, running order and production details may change. A smaller change won't automatically create a refund right. A material change may include a significant change to the date, city or venue, the advertised headline act, or the event's essential nature. The circumstances and Australian Consumer Law determine the available remedy.

We'll use the purchaser details held by the ticketing provider to communicate a confirmed cancellation, postponement or material change. Keep those details current and check the official event and ticketing pages before travelling.

Cancellation, postponement and refunds

If SYBER cancels an event or makes a material change, affected ticket holders will receive the remedy required by Australian Consumer Law. This may include a refund to the original payment method. Any refund will include the ticket price and other amounts required by law, and will usually be processed by the ticketing provider.

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, the original ticket will normally remain valid for the new date. If you can't attend, a refund option will be offered where required by law or stated in the event notice. Where the law entitles you to a refund, you do not have to accept a credit or voucher instead.

Follow the instructions and reasonable claim period in the event notice. If you bought several tickets in one order, the purchaser may need to submit the request for that order.

Change of mind and missed events

There is no automatic refund because you changed your mind, chose the wrong event or ticket, arrived late, or didn't attend. A refund may still be available under the event-specific terms or where the law requires it.

Accessibility and support

Check the event and venue information for accessibility details. If you need help before buying or attending, contact the ticketing provider or email hello@syber.club so the right team can respond.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that can't lawfully be excluded.
